51/365 - 30.9.13
This is Joel, who makes the most amazing skinny lattes for me everyday at school. Take a close look at the coffee - he has decorated it with a white rabbit!
50/365 - 29.9.13
The Mid-Autumn festival means that Moon cakes (not for the faint-hearted) and lanterns are everywhere, especially here in ChinaTown. These were decorated by local children.
48/365 - 27.9.13
A happy husband: rugby on the big screen, a pint of 'White Rabbit' (yes, a few did disappear down the hatch!), a pizza on order and a real-life brewery in the background!

42/365 - 21.9.13
View of the Alkaff bridge over the Singapore River at Robertson Quay, early evening. It was so very pleasant, strolling by the river before finding a spot for a drink and a pizza, just watching the world go by.
41/365 - 20.9.13
We were at the Col Bar for an end-of-the-week wind-down drink, when this happy couple appeared. It was only after I had offered my congratulations that I was informed they were not yet married! Apparently in Singapore the bride has more than one dress and the couple embark on a grand photographic tour weeks before their happy day - the bride was wearing walking boots and thick socks, so she was well prepared for her tour today!
40/365 - 19.9.13
The JCube, shopping mall, eaterie, IMax and ice rink. Photo taken from the MRT station at Jurong East, early evening. I love how Singapore lights up at night!

33/365 - 12.9.13
A mid-week treat found us in Little India. Aislinn's new chum Georgia joined us for a curry banquet.
32/365 - 11.9.13
This marvellous tree caught my eye in the Evolution Garden part of the Botanic Gardens; we half expected veloceraptors to come through the foliage!

29/365 - 8.9.13
Braving the threat of the monsoon, we explored the beautiful Botanic Gardens. A rare sight - not the exotic orchid collection, but a photo of us together!
28/365 - 7.9.13
Dave & I spent most of Saturday at VivoCity, one of the larger shopping malls, complete with lakes and fountains on the roof, as well as more shops than you can visit in a day. Immediately I saw this shop I thought of Matthew, who is a real comic book geek!

27/365 - 6.9.13
Muddy Murphy's pub was brought over from the Emerald Isle in 40 containers! We timed it right and consumed many happy hour beverages whilst watching Australian rugby and munching spicy chicken drummers.
26/365 - 5.9.13
This amazing structure is called Marina Bay Sands; it is a hotel with the world's highest infinity pool at the top. Sadly, this can only be accessed if you are a guest and have paid at least $500 for the priviledge!
25/365 - 4.9.13
'A Happy Family of Five' - Singapore is full of lovely tucked-away surprises like this one near the Esplanade theatre.

23/365 - 2.9.13
This is the Esplanade theatre, otherwise known locally as 'The Durians', given its resemblance to the fruit, and can be found down by the Singapore river. We shall be there next Monday enjoying a cultural evening of La Traviata!

22/365 - 1.9.13
The famous Merlion, a mythical creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish, used as a mascot throughout Singapore.
21/365 - 31.8.13
Inside the Esplanade theatre was a wall of wonderful 3D artwork by Simgapore's schools. This part represents 'Grace'.
