128/365 16.12.13

Look at the size of that head!

127/363 15.12.13

View over the Upper Bukit Timah Road. You can see the Railway Bridge which was part of the old Singapore to Malaya Railway and the dense equatorial forest in the background. Never the less, our ultimate aim this afternoon was High Tea at Cedele's, just visible beyond the bridge.

126/365 - 14.12.13

                                                      The Christmas fairy lights sparkle!

125/365 - 13.12.13

This is a real gingerbread house!  We spotted it at The Star shopping mall during a wander after watching The Woman in Black at the theatre and before eating at Nosh.

124/365 - 12.12.13

What a fashion statement!

123/365 - 11.12.13

Aislinn joined me in the Masterchef kitchen at school and whipped up these delicious Rudolf cupcakes!

122/365 - 10.12.13

A poignant reminder and tribute to the brave young men who fought the brutal Japanese here in Kent Ridge.

121/365 - 9.12.13

During a pleasant explore of  Kent Ridge National Park, we came across a tiny war museum; the mural on the museum's wall is an artist's impression of the Battle of Bukit Chandu.  It cost Dave just 50 cents to browse inside.

120/365 - 8.12.13

This sign says it loud and clear, Singaporean-style!

119/365 - 7.12.13

We treated ourselves to a Big Breakfast down at Orchard after Dr See (!) gave my newly-lasered eyes the all clear.

118/365 - 6.12.13

Spotted in the supermarket - a back-up in case we can't get hold of a turkey!

117/365 - 5.12.13

We don't have a Christmas tree, but a festive forest and Aislinn has an embroidered stocking waiting for Santa to fill.

116/365 - 4.12.13

Dave finally gets to open the birthday bubbles!

115/365 - 3.12 13

Look carefully and you will see Aislinn's name displayed to commemorate her role as Raeburn House Captain.

114/365 - 2.12.13

Aislinn and Georgia pose at the Great Gatsby party.

113/365 - 01.12.13

The Year 5 Christmas meal: Anna and Ed compare their taste in hats and colourful tops; Kris skillfully manoeuvres an After Eight mint from his forehead to his mouth whilst modelling his Movember face hair; a calm Amber prepares the bread sauce and Veena and I show the world we are elegant even among the rabble.

112/365 - 30.11.13

Year Five teachers pulling crackers at our Christmas Do at Caro's house.
